1-1 Sessions
Private sessions are like tutoring. I can teach you how to do everything, I can train your dog to get a solid beginning and set you both up for success; but it's up to you to do the homework in order to be successful. Sessions can be at your home, a public place, or internationally via Zoom, and typically last 1-2 hours.

Dayschool Sessions
Dayschool is where I will work with your dog during the day while you're busy with work or school. This way, your dog still gets their homework done. Great for people on vacation as well, to make sure there's no loss of progress due to inconsistency. Sessions are typically 30 minutes and include video updates.

Group classes are for learning how to do things around other people, dogs, sounds, and in new environments. Focus on the cues needed for a happy and well-mannered dog out in the world. Classes are outside to welcome mildly reactive dogs, and last 1 hour.
As for pack walks, who doesn't love a good walk in nature?
These are common more long-term training programs requested by my clients. Each comprises a combination of workshops that are listed separately below.
Puppy Program (under 5 months)
Everything you need to keep your puppy happy, safe, and learning all the right things for their age.
Reactivity Program
Learn why your dog does the things they do, how to help them while training is ongoing, and what to train to minimize or even eliminate their barking/growling/lunging behaviors.
Foundation Program
For dogs who need to learn the manners needed to have fulfilled lives and harmonious households.
Separation Anxiety Program
Dogs with separation anxiety need to trust their family will always come back, feel safe when confined, be able to enjoy being alone, and become confident during independent activities.
CGC Program
Progressive testing for more advanced public manners training. Ash is an AKC certified evaluator.
Therapy & Service Dog Programs
Therapy dogs visit patients in hospitals, or listen to children read at libraries. Service dogs help with their handler's disability.
NOTE: There is NO legal service dog certification in the USA!

My Methods Work. Guaranteed
I promise to support my clients remotely (text & email) for the life of their dog after any training service. After any program or workshop's completion, I guarantee the methods work or we can meet via Zoom to troubleshoot for free.
These are typical cues and behaviors that I am asked to train. I have listed them separately so that my clients can pick the ones they need, as well as design their own programs.
*If you want to work on something that isn't listed, please feel free to email me and ask about it.

About Ash Miner, MS-AB, CTDI
My mission is to improve the quality of life of dogs around the world by creating partnerships instead of submission.
I began training my own dog when I was 10 years old. After adopting my first retired racing greyhound, I began volunteering with recent adopters to help the greyhounds settle into their new homes after a life at the track. I started training professionally in 2008, and have experience working with thousands of dogs of all different kinds of breeds, drives, temperaments, ages, sizes, medical needs, and neurological issues. I am licensed and insured.

I was first certified as a trick dog instructor (CTDI) in 2012 for Kyra Sundance's organization, Do More With Your Dog. I was then certified by the American Kennel Club (AKC) for STAR and CGC testing in 2018. I have been a professional member of American Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), Pet Professionals Guild (PPG), and International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). I graduated with a master's degree in the Science of Animal Behavior (MS-AB) in 2023, specializing in canine, feline, and equine species, to become not only a dog trainer, but an official animal behaviorist. There is no federal or local regulation in this industry, so I hold integrity very highly when doing this work. I also have a bachelor's degree in education, so I am uniquely able to teach the human end of the leash in a positive way, too!
